Things Never To Wear On Valentine’s Day

Things Never To Wear On Valentine’s Day

Valentine day is not the day we’re expecting Santa Claus. It’s the day for the celebration of love and of relationships, and sometimes turns out to be just a night where closest girlfriends meets from dinner to the dance floor. Aside from the fact that it’s a romantic date night of the year, it also comes with certain dress codes. For us modern women, this persuasive system of codes can be quite confusing – after all, it’s a date night – one only needs to feel sexy and comfortable, and anything goes as far as I am in charge. Okay, it’s your day but the truth is, there are certain looks to avoid.

To help you decipher the key things to avoid this Valentine’s Day, here are the 7 things never to wear:

#1. Anything Coveralls:

Date night aren’t just for only singles. Maybe you’ve been married for 5 years, or single but not just the type of gal who fancy steamy dresses or  you’re a single with no darling in sight. Wearing anything coverall to a date night will just make you look like a Catholic priest.

#2. Extremely Sheer Dress:

If one can see your nipples, underpants, and everything underneath (newsflash), it’s too naked to wear on a date night.

#3. Towering Heels:

First thing to consider on that day should be comfort – it’s very important. Don’t wear a shoe you cannot walk or stand in for 20mins. What if the DJ decides to turn his disc to ‘Step In The Name Of Love’ by R-Kelly?

#5. Super Tight Dress:

Let’s be honest, anything unsafe can happen to you if you wear anything super tight. Do you want your dress torn while dancing? Do you?

#6. Don’t Wear Red Head-To-Toe:

Like i said earlier, Santa Claus isn’t coming, so there is no need to paint yourself red. Roman Catholic Popes wear red as the symbol of the blood of Christ, while us women, especially on the V-day would wear it to express love. However, it’s advisable not to wear it at once ( think lipstick, red top, red pants and red shoes, and even red hair). e.t.c

#7. Loud and Shouty Perfume:

As you know taste in perfume is very personal and differs from person to person. Your might leave your guy choking all night with a loud and shouty perfume. We advice you opt for a soft and gentle scents that day.
