6 Habits of Highly Fashionable People

6 Habits of Highly Fashionable People

You can be one of them, too.

6 habits of highly fashionable people
Anyone can know the hottest labels and trends. Anyone with money can buy them. Owning fancy "it" brand pieces can get you a few Instagram-worthy photos, but having genuine style takes a little more.
What is it about the highly fashionable that makes style seem so effortless? They always look fabulous, but never seem to be trying too hard. They combine clothes in ways you never even considered. They wear outfits that you could never pull off... Except you can.
To help you get started, Below aee 6 Habits of stylish and Classy people:

1. They own what they're wearing.

Ultra-stylish people are always confident with what they're wearing. Even if they realize, in the middle of the day, that their top really clashes with their skirt, or that their dress is on backwards, they'll own it. Mistakes can come off as fashion statements, and simple outfits can come off as great ones.
Confidence really is key. It make you and anything you're wearing look ten times as cool.

2. They don't shy away from any store.

Whether it's Salvation Army or Neiman's, stylish people never think they're "too cool" or "not fancy enough" for any store. The fashionable can work great pieces from anywhere, without any snobbery.
If the store is on the higher end of the spectrum, maybe they can't afford anything (we've all been there!), but they'll browse like they belong there because it never hurts to draw inspiration.

3. They dress for themselves.

It may seem a little contradictory, but the most stylish people don't dress to be considered stylish
This paradox exists because the ultra stylish don't care what others think about their clothes. They wear what they do because they like it, and that's part of what makes it work. When you dress for yourself only, you're more likely to push the envelope and maybe create your own new trends.

4. They don't obsess over labels.

People with genuine style know that name brands don't make them cooler. It's not that name brands are bad, but they're not the only thing to be considering when you're getting dressed
Like I said before, the truly stylish can find amazing pieces from any store, name brand or not.

5. They don't follow every trend.

Usually, the highly fashionable do keep up with trends, but that doesn't mean they jump on every one of them.
They know trends come and go, and of course, they'll take action on the ones they like. But if they don't want to buy into the hottest new trend, they won't, and it doesn't tarnish their stylish reputation.

6. They get inspired, but they don't copy.

Inspiration can be drawn from so many different places: fashion shows, store window mannequins, street style photos. There are millions of possible sources!
Stylish people love to get inspired, but they don't need or want to copy an outfit piece by piece. They know how to recreate certain styles and vibes in a way that makes them their own.

What do you think?

Are there any other habits you think highly stylish people have? What habits might you pick up yourself? Comment below! Would love to hear from you!

The Importance of Fish in our Diet.

Fish and other seafood should be a major part of everyone’s diet.  What are the health benefits of fish and other seafood?
Fish and shellfish are rich in long chain omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA.  These are the anti-inflammatory omega-3 fats that are readily used by our body.  The shorter chain omega-3 ALA, which is in flax, chia and walnuts, is actually not easily used by our body because it must first be converted into DHA or EPA, which is a very inefficient process.  A 3.5oz serving of wild-caught salmon (fresh or canned; any species), sardines, albacore tuna, trout or mackerel has over 500mg of DHA + EPA.  Fish which have moderate amounts of DHA+EPA (150mg-500mg per 3.5oz serving) include haddock, cod, hake, halibut, shrimp, sole, flounder, perch, bass, oysters, crab and farmed salmon). Why not just get your DHA and EPA from fish oil supplements?  These polyunsaturated fats are very easily oxidized in response to heat or light and are not very shelf stable, especially once isolated.  Consuming oxidized omega-3 fats is not helpful to your health (contributes to inflammation as opposed to reducing it).  Eating fresh, frozen or canned whole fish protects the omega-3 fats from oxidation plus provides all the necessary cofactors for optimal absorption and use by the body.
The protein in fish and shellfish is very easy to digest and research shows that the amino acids in fish are more bioavailable (your body can absorb and use them more readily) than beef, pork or chicken 2,3.  Fish and shellfish also have a balanced quantity of all of the essential amino acids, giving them very high Amino Acid Scores (see http://nutritiondata.self.com).
Fish is also rich in two very important minerals which can be challenging to get in sufficient quantities from other foods:  iodine and selenium.  Iodine (which is also rich in algae and seaweed) is vital for normal thyroid function but is also extremely important for proper immune system function, wound healing, and fertility.  Table salt is enriched with iodine due to rampant dietary iodine deficiency (goiters were very common before the advent iodized salt).  Since paleo diets tend to be lower in salt (and many people switch to sea salt, which is not iodized), it is very important to include food sources of this essential mineral.  Selenium is required for a class of enzymes called selenoenzymes which are part of the body’s natural protection against oxidants.  Selenoenzymes are particularly important for protecting the brain against oxidative damage, but selenium deficiencies are also linked to thyroid disease, cardiovascular disease and cancer.
Fish is also a food source of Vitamin D (which can also be found in organ meats).  Vitamin D is a steroid hormone that controls expression of more than 200 genes and the proteins those genes regulate.  Vitamin D is essential for mineral metabolism (it regulates absorption and transport of calcium, phosphorous and magnesium) and for bone mineralization and growth.  Vitamin D is also crucial for regulating several key components of your immune system, including formation of important anti-oxidants.  Very importantly, Vitamin D has recently been shown to decrease inflammation and may be critical in controlling auto-immune and inflammatory diseases.  Vitamin D is also involved in the biosynthesis of neurotrophic factors, regulating release of such important hormones as serotonin (required not only for mental health but also for healthy digestion!).  Vitamin D helps control cell growth, so it is essential for healing.  Vitamin D also activates areas of the brain responsible for biorhythms.  Scientists continue to discover new ways in which Vitamin D is essential for human health; for example, Vitamin D may prevent cancer.  As we spend less and less time outdoors (our bodies synthesize Vitamin D in response to sun exposure), dietary vitamin D becomes more and more important.
Which fish are best to include in your diet?  Oily cold water, wild-caught fish will have the highest omega-3 and Vitamin D content.  However, even fresh water white fish are an excellent source of protein.  The only fish that are worth limiting in your diet are farmed tilapia and farmed catfish as these fish tend to have higher omega-6 content  (they still have that great easily digested protein though!).  Yes, fish can be expensive.  Canned fish (especially sardines and salmon) are great inexpensive options.  Pickled herring and smoked kipper are often less expensive as well.
Fish is good for you, so eat it as often as you want.
Good Morning and Have a great week ahead.

Kris Jenner Crashes Her Rolls Royce, May have broken a Wrist

Kris Jenner Crashes Her Rolls Royce, May Have Broken WristFacebook

Wenn
Kris Jenner just got into an accident near the 101 freeway by her house in Hidden Hills, California, and TMZ is reporting that it was bad enough that the reality momager may have broken her wrist. Apparently, Jenner’s airbag deployed when her white Rolls Royce hit a Prius, according to law enforcement sources.
Sounds like the accident was the fault of the Prius driver, as a source told the publication that the driver ran a red light. The Prius reportedly cut in front of Jenner and completely smashed the front passenger side of the car.
TMZ reported that Jenner was being treated at the scene by paramedics. To add insult to injury (literally), the Rolls is only a week old. We’re just glad she’s OK—and don’t worry, we’re sure she has great insurance. Keep scrolling for a video of the accident scene.

How to Stay Beautiful During Exams

How To Stay Chic During Exams Exams are indeed some of the most stressful days of your life. What you can do is make things a little better for you during such days. Who said that exam days call for wearing the first thing that reaches your hand in your closet? And who said that you have to tie your hair into a messy bun? You most certainly don’t need to keep yourself so unkempt during your exams! Even though the pressure may be over-bearing, you must find a solution to this problem. Check out these time-saving tips that will help you learn how to look chic, even during exams.

1. Tie your hair into ponytails Ponytails are neat and tidy. It hardly takes anytime to bundle up your hair together and tie it using a rubber band. Pick a cute colored one!

2. Let your hair loose If you hardly have anytime to spare and are naturally blessed with a beautiful mane, just let it down. You will find yourself looking no less than Rapunzel even during your exams.

3. Wear a stylish watch Now a watch is a must during exams, right? So why not wear a super-stylish one? Pick a watch with an extremely stylish polish and look. Choose one according to the size of your wrist.

4. Wear cute footwear During exams if you are looking for something that hardly takes anytime to put on and is super-comfy, you can choose ballets. They are so feminine and make your feet look completely divine. If you are looking for something lesser feminine, you can choose sneakers. You can even wear summer sandals, slippers or low heel pumps.

5. Wear trendy clothes As far as your clothes are concerned, you can pick tank tops, skinny jeans and cardigans. If you prefer something girly, you can go for cotton dresses with a puff-sleeved sweater. Go for bright colors to add some oomph to these tedious days.

6. Take care of your skin During such a period of tension and anxiety, your skin is very likely to break out into ugly pimples. So make sure that you take utmost care of your skin. Drink lots and lots of water whenever possible. Also see to it that you sleep as much as you can to avoid dark circles and prevent your skin from losing its healthy glow.

7. Pick good bags You obviously need to carry a bag to keep all your books, right? So why not go for something extremely attractive here as well. Pick a backpack, bucket bag, hobo, saddle or a tote. All of them are smart and fashion forward. 8. Stick to makeup basics As for makeup is concerned during your exams, less is more. So you may settle for a concealer just to cover blemishes and some mascara to add magic to those eyes. Also use lots and lots of lip gloss to those steamy lips. Save the rest of your makeup material for non-exams days. So my girl, finally you know how to spend hardly anytime and yet look chic during your exams.

How To Hide A Big Forehead

                           Forehead

People say that the one who has a big forehead comes with intelligence and great analytical powers. But all this goes for a toss when your forehead is disproportionately larger than your face. We all want a well-balanced face that looks pretty and beautiful, but not everyone is blessed with such flawless beauty. If you are one of them who has a disproportionate face because of a big forehead, then here are some tips that can hide your forehead and make you look great.

1. Shun back-combed hairstyles It doesn’t matter if neatly combed or back-brushed ponytail is the ‘in thing’ right now. For women with big foreheads, this hairdo is a big no-no. This style will attract more attention to your forehead and will also be responsible for the hairline going back even further.

 2. Wear scarfs, hair bands and hats Accessorize your hair with different kinds of scarfs, hair bands, bandanas or hats and hide your large forehead. Besides, these lovely accessories will add up to your glamorous attire and will make you look chic amongst your peer group. Experiment with such head gears to camouflage your big forehead and look super cool!

3. Pick the perfect hairstyle The best way in which you can hide your huge forehead is by getting a proper haircut or a style. It is always advised to go for fringes or bangs that will fall perfectly on the forehead. Try layers or emo hairstyles that suit long, medium and short tresses.

4. Perfect the art of eye makeup Many fail to recognize the importance of eye makeup, especially women with huge forehead! This is one of the best ways to hide that huge space above your brows. Add drama to your eyes with a splash of bright and bold colors that will distract onlookers’ attention from your forehead. You can also shape up your brows and give a triangular shape, thus making your forehead seem well balanced.

5. Learn to do face contouring There are numerous tutorials available online, that teach you how to do face contouring. Check out those links and master the art of hiding that big forehead. A matte bronzer is a must for women with this issue. Wear the bronzer along the hairline that is one shade darker than your skin tone. This will nicely contour the forehead to make your face look proportionate and beautiful.

Follow these amazing tips and see instant results! Always remember that every face has a different story to tell. Hence, it is recommended to study your own face and know what suits you best. Above all, it is the inner beauty that shines the most – be confident.
